Associate Project Manager, Creative & Advertising, Random House Publishing Group (Hybrid)
In 1925, Bennett Cerf and Donald Klopfer, two New Yorkers in their mid-twenties, acquired The Modern Library, a stable of classics and contemporary American works. Two years later, the company assumed Random House when Cerf and Klopfer decided to publish a few books on the side, “at random.”
Today Random House is the proud publishing home of the world’s most acclaimed storytellers, thought leaders, and innovators. The Random House portfolio of imprints includes Ballantine Books, Bantam, Delacorte Press, Dell, Del Rey, Random House Worlds, Modern Library, One World, Hogarth, Convergent, The Dial Press, Harmony, Rodale, and, of course, the flagship imprint Random House (among many others!). Publishing original fiction and nonfiction across imprints in all formats, Random House aims to connect with a broad and diverse readership, continuing our mission to entertain, educate, and inspire readers everywhere.
We seek a highly organized, self-starter with excellent communication skills to manage projects from conception through completion in partnership with the Art, Marketing, Accounts Payable, and Advertising teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented; able to adapt to, fine-tune, and troubleshoot (new) systems; and perfect for someone who can take initiative with a discerning eye towards process and efficiency.
