- Northwest Student Exchange (www.nwse.com) is looking for an individual living in the Minneapolis St Paul area to work with NWSE and the local high schools. Coordinators are part time (a few hours a month) promote our inbound and outbound programs and recruit good hosts for our applicants who arrive in January and August.
- IN person interview with host family in their home along with IN person meeting with exchange student shortly after arrival are required. Seeing a host parent once per semester.
- Our students come from a wide variety of countries, including Italy, Japan, Brazil, Poland, Mexico, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Spain, France and Czech Republic
An individual with ability to meet in person once per semester a host parent and student - good people skills - interest in working with international exchange students ages 15 to 18 - good community contacts - time to promote in the local area a few hours a month - good Internet skills and good follow through makes a great NWSE coordinator. Stipend paid for placing 90.00 to 175.00 & monitoring students 55.00 to 60.00 per student per month completing a monthly online report. It is recommended that coordinators be 25 years or older.
NWSE is a non-profit, private exchange organization that has been placing students with families and individuals since 1987. We are fully credentialed by the United States Department of State and are listed in the CSIET (Council on Standards for International Educational Travel) catalog of approved exchange organizations.
