The Corporate Risk Manager is primarily responsible for oversight and coordination of all aspects of aspects of the worldwide property and casualty insurance programs. This will include understanding and evaluating insurance policies, coverage enhancements, assessing risks, coverage placement, as well as more broadly assisting in the structuring, negotiating, purchasing, and day-to-day management of all aspects of the global insurance program, including assistance with any coverage-related disputes.
This position routinely interfaces with Insurance Brokers and various internal stakeholders. This role will report into the Director, Risk Management within Treasury/Investor Relations and will include international and domestic responsibility with respect to evaluating the operational risks associated with the business. The objective of this position is to provide risk management expertise and guidance in achieving compliance and financially justified global and local insurance programs and ensures relevant risks are adequately covered by way of insurance or other risk management techniques.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (7) years of finance experience in a private, public, government or military environment

High School Diploma/GED from AND (14) years of finance management experience in a private, public, government or military environment

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

1 year of experience in finance, insurance or risk management

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

2 years of experience in large multinational companies
2 years or more of experience in insurance and risk management
Insurance Designations such as ARM or CPCU

Work location: Remote - United States

Travel: May include up to 10% local, domestic, and international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $160,284 - $195,903, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
