The RoleAs a Global SMB Account Executive, you'll be on the front lines of our sales engine - converting qualified inbound leads into enthusiastic customers and managing a growing portfolio of small and mid-sized business accounts. You'll guide prospects through the full sales cycle, from first conversation to pilots to onboarding, and ensure they are set up for long-term success. As a part of this role, you will also be responsible for customer renewals within your Book of Business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is energized by consultative selling and account management, and wants to help scale a product that's changing lives across the globe. This role will have a base salary plus commission.
What You'll Do Inbound Sales & Conversion- Own the full sales cycle for qualified inbound SMB leads-from discovery and demos/pilots to pricing, negotiation, and close.
- Engage prospects across global markets, understanding their business goals and how IMMERSE can help meet them.
- Use a consultative, needs-based approach to selling that focuses on value creation and long-term fit.
- Maintain a high conversion rate and consistently exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Account Management & Retention- Serve as the primary point of contact for your closed SMB accounts, ensuring they're fully onboarded and actively using IMMERSE.
- Serve as the primary Customer Success Manager for accounts and prospects owned by Senior Account Executives, assisting with pilots and customers post-sale. For accounts owned by another Senior AE, you will act primarily as the CSM and be jointly responsible for renewals.
- Identify expansion opportunities and renewals within your book of business.
- Monitor usage and engagement trends, proactively resolving issues and supporting customer success.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience and Product teams to ensure feedback loops and continuous improvement.
Sales Enablement & Optimization- Use CRM (e.g., HubSpot) to track pipeline activity, forecast accurately, and report on KPIs.
- Continuously optimize sales messaging, collateral, and outreach strategies to increase win rates.
- Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
- Contribute to testing and refining pricing, packaging, and positioning for the SMB segment.
Who You Are Located in North or South America
2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, EdTech, or learning & development.
Proven success in managing full-cycle sales for SMB or mid-market customers.
Track record of exceeding sales targets and closing deals with speed and consistency.
Strong communicator and active listener with a consultative, value-driven approach.
Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage dozens of leads and accounts simultaneously.
Experience using CRMs and sales engagement tools to manage pipeline and forecast.
Global mindset with the ability to build rapport and close deals across regions, cultures, and time zones.
Comfortable working across time zones and flexible with meeting global customer needs.
Bilingual - English and Spanish - Portuguese is a plus
