We are currently seeking a remote-based Field Account Manager for our bioprocess business based in the North East Central/Great Lakes area. In this position, you will be responsible for revenue, proactively selling the full range of the bioprocess portfolio, and developing strong customer relationships.

We are seeking a dynamic, self-starter Field Account Manager, to join our global organization. In this strategic, customer facing role you will be responsible for driving profitable and sustainable growth within our bioprocessing solutions portfolio, (equipment, consumables and services) as well as to build and maintain effective relationships within the assigned central territory, (Indianapolis, Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin).
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish strong relationships with critical decision makers and stakeholders within the accounts and build sustainable business relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy.
- Partner with existing customers to expand our footprint and to identify and seed new business opportunities within new customers
- Required daily/weekly activities within Salesforce, (SFDC) to manage and document leads and opportunities, all customer interactions and sales activities ensuring that all customer and opportunity information is up-to-date and accurately entered in the CRM system.
- Analyze SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate customer insights and track sales performance.
- Actively drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity.
- Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to customer inquiries, and suggest products and services as appropriate.
- Develop and implement account/territory plans and request and coordinate resources in line with the account plans.
- Work closely with cross functional technical teams to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account.
- Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory.
- Manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnership.
- Estimated 45% travel for on-site/customer facing meetings.
- Ability to problem solve, present process efficiencies, understand customer needs and industry needs in various modalities to result in execution of sales.
- Actively contribute to innovation & sustainability.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Bioengineering or related field
- 5+ years’ work experience in the bioprocessing industry and cGMP environment combined with a proven track within Biopharmaceutical sales.
- Key account management experience preferred
- Relevant knowledge in bioprocessing equipment and consumables
- Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC and other CRM tools.
- Self-driven, proactive and strategic mindset is highly welcome
- General sales skills, presentation skills and solid business acumen
- Knowledge of standard office software and modern communication tools
- Willingness to travel 45% or more based upon location.
