The Tax Manager will be responsible for reviewing and preparing tax provision work papers, tax return work papers, and routine tax related matters for U.S., Canada, Hong Kong, China and miscellaneous other countries. This position will be reporting directly to the U.S. Tax Senior Manager. The Tax Manager will assist in training tax staff in the U.S.
Review and / or preparation of ASC 740 income tax provision calculations, U.S. federal and state tax returns and supporting calculations including:
- Projected pre-tax book income analysis
- Unicap - Section 263A
- GILTI – Section 951A
- U.S. tax depreciation calculations and fixed asset reconciliations
- International Forms 5471 and 8858 and supporting schedules
- Foreign assets with U.S. tax depreciation for QBAI calculation
- CbyC reporting
- State Apportionment
- Multistate income tax returns
Review and / or preparation of ASC 740 income tax provision calculations, Canada, Hong Kong, China and miscellaneous other country tax returns and supporting calculations including:
- Foreign current tax expense and deferred tax balance roll forward
- Foreign ending deferred tax balance proof
- Foreign tax accounts roll forward and reconciliation
- Foreign uncertain tax positions and valuation allowance
- Canadian treaty-based and income tax returns
- Canadian quarterly and annual tax provision work papers
Other projects such as:
- Transfer pricing analysis and documentation
- Research & development tax credit study
- Tax process improvement and automation
- Assist with IRS and various state income and indirect tax audits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Masters in Business Taxation is a plus)
- Minimum of six years of public accounting tax experience (combination of “Big-4” and corporate tax department experience)
- Due to ITAR requirements, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Cognos, Fixed Asset CS, CorpTax or Alteryx software experience is a plus

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
