Empiric are currently working alongside one of the most innovative manufacturing companies in the world, looking for an iWay/Adabas Administrator with over 3 years hands on experience. Experience of dealing with error messages after new or changed Database source is essential
The iWay/Adabas Administrator will provide support with installation, upgrading, testing, and maintenance Plus the iWay/Adabas Administrator will be expected to follow detailed work plans for both installation and continuing maintenance. Also conducts tests and monitors new installations.

iWay/Adabas Administrator knowledge/experience:
- Technical, ongoing support of iWay/Adabas Administrator
- Directs the installation, upgrade, testing and maintenance.
- Various Mainframe databases, eg ADABAS,DB2,Supra.
- Dealing with error messages after new or changed Database source (essential)
- Strong ability and mental agility when presenting solutions
- Thoughtful analysis of customer needs and expectations.

- Term: 6 to 12 Months plus extensions
