As we expand our operations, we are looking for a new member of our Customer Service Team. The Logistics Coordinator will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues, generally providing a higher level of customer support on a specific service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time, with or without notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Interacts with Steamship Lines & Truckers that call Husky Terminal via telephone, email, online chat, or in-person to provide support and information on an assigned product or service.
- Able to reconcile bookings, bills of ladings to facilitate container movement.
- Work with onsite staff to resolve issues real time issues/concerns.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, issues, or comments.
- Uses knowledge of a specific product, service, or other assigned area of expertise to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff.
Additional Responsibilities include the following.
- Comply with Corporate Safety and department policies and procedures.
- Attend required safety trainings and meetings; follow all safety and health guidelines, standards, practices, policies, and procedures; and actively participate in the Husky’s Emergency Preparedness program and activities

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Related experience:
- Marine Terminal, Logistics, Supply Chain. or equivalent Customer Service experience preferred

- Experienced using marine terminal software (Navis, eModal, etc.)
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Anticipates and adjust effective contingency plans
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization.
