We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Business Analysis Consultant to join the Data Integration and Operations team within the Information Services Division at AHCCCS. This role involves maintaining strong working relationships with AHCCCS staff and various business units both within and outside the State of Arizona.

- Experience with software development life cycle processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with a high level of security and confidentiality.
- Experience in coordinating and overseeing large, complex projects.
- Familiarity with data warehouses, data analytics, data management, quality assurance, and medical economics is a plus.
- Perform analysis, gather, and document project requirements, and ensure communication with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate and provide project oversight for multiple large, complex projects, including new system development and updates to existing systems.
- Ensure adherence to software development life cycle processes.
- Support the organization’s key business processes and applications, recommending business process redesign where applicable.
Work Experience Required:
- Experience with business requirement development for reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Cognos.
- Experience as an Analyst in the Health Insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare field is highly preferred.
Education/Training Required College Degree in IT, Business Management, or Healthcare Management or equivalent experience.
