Our firm is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team. This position is 100% remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from any location within California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Texas. The successful candidate will be part of a team that manages a diverse range of cases, with a primary focus on insurance coverage. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will:
1. Provide expert legal counsel to clients on complex insurance coverage matters.
2. Analyze and interpret insurance policies, advising clients on coverage issues, and potential exposures.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents related to insurance coverage.
4. Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
5. Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare legal memoranda.
6. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve disputes and achieve client objectives.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting insurance coverage.
8. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure high-quality legal services.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates and excellent customer service.
10. Contribute to business development efforts, including networking and client presentations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate Attorney position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the bar in California, New York, NJ, Pennsylvania, or Texas.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on insurance coverage.
4. Strong knowledge of insurance law, including policy interpretation, coverage analysis, and dispute resolution.
5. Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
6. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve disputes and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
7. High level of professionalism and ethics.
8. Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
11. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
