Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy MarketMan Administrator to manage and optimize our restaurant's inventory and purchasing processes using the MarketMan software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing food and beverage orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost controls align with our restaurant's budget.

Key Responsibilities:

MarketMan Software Management:
- Set up and maintain MarketMan database, including product lists, pricing, suppliers, and inventory tracking.
- Train staff on how to use MarketMan effectively for ordering and inventory control.
- Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with MarketMan support as needed.
Purchasing & Inventory Control:
- Process and track all food and beverage orders through MarketMan.
- Monitor stock levels and adjust orders to optimize inventory turnover.
- Conduct routine inventory audits to ensure accuracy in stock counts.
- Identify discrepancies in invoices, pricing, and inventory counts, resolving issues with vendors.
Vendor & Cost Management:
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Compare supplier pricing and recommend cost-effective purchasing strategies.
- Monitor and analyze food cost percentages, wastage, and profitability using MarketMan reports.
Reporting & Data Analysis:
- Generate and review MarketMan reports to track food costs, sales trends, and inventory variances.
- Provide management with insights and recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines and cost control initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience using MarketMan or similar restaurant inventory software.
Background in restaurant operations, purchasing, or inventory management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data entry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with vendors.

Preferred Experience:

2+ years of experience in restaurant purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management.
Knowledge of food and beverage cost control strategies.
Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment.
