We are currently seeking a skilled VSL (Video Sales Letter) & Facebook Ad Editor for a dynamic US-based company. This remote position offers the chance to create impactful video content that drives customer engagement and conversion.
Responsibilities:
- Edit engaging video sales letters that effectively communicate our client’s offerings and engage prospective customers.
- Create and optimize Facebook ad videos that align with targeted marketing strategies and maximize conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand the vision, tone, and messaging needed for each project.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance storytelling and keep audiences engaged.
- Select appropriate music and sound effects to reinforce the overall message and emotion of the videos.
- Review and refine final edits based on feedback from stakeholders to ensure alignment with campaign objectives.
- Stay updated on trends in video editing and Facebook advertising best practices to ensure high-quality content delivery.
- Perfect, fluent English
- 1+ years experience creating VSLs (please send us examples)
- Proficient in traditional (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop) and new video editing software (e.g. CapCut, Canva, Veed)
- Access to all necessary stock footage libraries and able to source additional b-roll if needed, including creating appropriate generative AI images/video.
- Experience with UGC content on Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok, etc.
- Understanding of AI image/voice software (ElevenLabs, image generators, etc)
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of high converting edits: implement strong hooks, sharp pacing, meaningful cuts, and persuasive on-screen text/graphics. sequences that evoke the right emotions for each section of the script (e.g., darker scenes for problem statements, happy scenes for positive outcomes).
