As a Territory Sales Representative, you will educate clients, specify products, and visit engineers involved in the Florida market for municipal water tank development and construction. This role involves navigating a territory-wide position with a heavy focus on new business development. It is a remote position that requires extensive on-the-road and overnight travel. The base salary range is $150,000-$160,000.

Its client base includes municipalities and counties across the United States and Canada. The company is recognized internationally and is in high growth mode.
OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:
This role is a work-from-home/ outside sales position
Territory – Florida - State Wide
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
5 - 10 years of sales experience
Water industry experience, particularly in storage-based systems
Experience with valves, pumps, metering, or control system sales an asset
Experience with high-end engineering firms and technical presentations
EDUCATION
Post-Secondary
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Expert proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Knowledge of technical aspects of engineering and construction as they relate to sales

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES
Penetrating the market and educating clients. (Florida is an underdeveloped market for our client).
The primary focus is on civil engineers and those involved in specifying and purchasing municipal water towers.
Proposal preparation
Build and manage customer relationships with existing and new clients
Identify growth opportunities and potential strategic partnerships
Develop and implement sales strategies
Presentations and speaking engagements with engineers/owners across the state
Attend trade shows, particularly the Florida AWWA (American Water Works Association) fall event
OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:
50 – 75%overnight travel (two to three weeks per month)
