About Sensible CareSchedule: Monday-Friday REMOTE (No nights/weekends)

Sensible Care is now hiring for an exceptional Billing Specialist to join our Billing team! This position will report to the Billing Manager and will fill a Monday-Friday schedule at 32 hours per week. Your role is crucial in supporting the company's financial operations, ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate billing of key customer accounts.About the Role:

Reconciliation of encounters for accuracy against performed services
Verify insurance company payments and ensure accurate posting
Timely correction of claims and submitting appeals
Discuss open claims and invoices with insurance payers and patients
Collect patient accounts receivable
Conduct coordination between providers and payers to obtain referrals when required
Process refund and superbill requests

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
Is excited about working with and helping build a homegrown billing system

Compensation:

$17.00 per hour (32 hours per week)

You Offer:

1-3 years of experience in a medical billing field
Understanding of billing, invoicing, accounts receivable concepts
Ability to juggle multiple priorities
Experience checking health insurance eligibility
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Bachelor's degree or relevant certification, or 2+ years of experience
A passion for learning and an adaptable attitude towards growth
