International Corporate Travel Agent
Job Summary
The International Corporate Travel Agent role requires an experienced corporate agent, with strong customer service skills, experience with international corporate travel, including international fare construction.
Job duties:
- Arrange complex domestic and international travel for corporate client(s), including air, car rental, hotel, other ground transportation, transfers, etc.
- Advising travelers of international travel requirements and concerns (passport, visa, inoculations, etc.)
- Consistently demonstrating thorough understanding of client travel policy, guidelines, authorization requirements, procedures, etc.
- Provide excellence in customer service – maintain attitude of going the extra mile
- Competence in multi-tasking inclusive of handling reservations via phone, email and chat
- Be a team player
- Be accurate with fare, rate and reservation detail
- Experience with Online Booking Tools
- Work professionally with all internal staff and suppliers, especially when interfacing with suppliers about customer support issues
- Inform supervisor of all problems
Qualifications
- Five-year prior experience in corporate travel operations
- Thorough knowledge of Sabre GDS
- Experience in call distribution technology
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills
