The Joachim Group CPAs and Consultants, LLC is seeking a Technical Editor. The technical editor will review and edit reports, proposals and other written documents for clarity, grammar, syntax, format, and style before publication. The editor will also ensure that the content is accurate and understandable to an average user. Technical editors will work with managers, subject experts, and other firm personnel to create quality content. Duties include:
- Reviewing content for structure, inconsistencies, and technical and grammatical errors.
- Updating, correcting, and suggesting improvements for authors' materials.
- Commenting on an article's technical features, such as words, sentences, and minor details.
- Serving as a technical authority in grammar, style, and formatting.
- Ensuring all internal and external documents adhere to a standardized compliance guideline, such as 508 Compliance.
- Performing comprehensive editorial reviews and analyzing work products to ensure that objective, style, and manner of presentation aligned with the overall goals and target audience of the government.
The technical editor position is a remote part time contract position billed at an hourly rate.
Experience with writing government reports and related documents required.
