Job description:
- Conduct individual and group English language lessons tailored to the proficiency levels of non-native speaking staff.
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans focusing on relevant workplace communication skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Assess staff’s language abilities through diagnostic tests and tailor instruction to address individual needs.
- Provide constructive feedback and continuous assessment of students' progress, identifying areas for improvement and offering targeted support.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and techniques, including role-playing, simulations, and real-life scenarios, to enhance language acquisition.
- Incorporate industry-specific vocabulary and contexts relevant to the employees' roles to ensure practical language use.
- Encourage and facilitate language practice outside of formal lessons, recommending additional resources like reading materials, online courses, and language apps.
- Develop and conduct workshops focused on specific language skills, such as business English, report writing, or customer service communication.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and any issues encountered during the training.
- Support employees in building confidence and reducing anxiety related to using English in professional settings.
Who we’re looking for:
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience in English as a second language (ESL/EFL) is preferred.
- Certification in TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA.
- Strong understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Proficiency in using online teaching platforms and technology.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience teaching English to diverse age groups and proficiency levels.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
