Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Video Editor to create compelling ad content for our direct-to-consumer (DTC) campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of producing both short-form and long-form video advertisements that capture attention and drive conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging short-form video content (15-60 seconds) optimized for social media platforms
- Develop longer-form video advertisements (1-3 minutes) for website and targeted campaigns
- Edit raw footage to craft powerful narratives with attention-grabbing hooks
- Design seamless transitions and visual effects that enhance viewer retention
- Incorporate brand guidelines while maintaining creative appeal
- Optimize videos for different platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook)
- Collaborate with marketing team to understand campaign objectives and target audiences
- Test and iterate on content based on performance data
- Proven experience creating successful DTC video advertisements
- Portfolio demonstrating "scroll-stopping" video content with strong hooks
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
- Strong understanding of social media platform requirements and audience behaviors
- Excellent sense of pacing, timing, and visual storytelling
- Knowledge of current trends in short-form video content
- Ability to balance creative vision with marketing objectives
- Experience with motion graphics and sound design a plus
