Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a California Licensed Psychiatrist for our Supervising Psychiatrist position for our outpatient clinic.
This position is remote, will NOT be asked to prescribe medications for NPs and has flexible hours.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate and consult with nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants; collaboration may be through in-person meetings, chart review, telephone conference, or any other reasonable manner agreed upon or the judgment of the supervising psychiatrist and state requirements
- Supervise two (2) and up to four (4) CA Licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants
- This role is remote, but may be asked to come to office in person 1-2x a year
- Supervisors will NOT be asked to prescribe medications for NPs/PAs and no charting responsibilities
- Must allow us to credential them under our group on insurance panels
- Conduct 1-2 monthly zoom or phone meetings with Nurse Practitioners as per California Board of Nursing requirements
EDUCATION, LICENSING, AND CREDENTIALS
- M.D. or D.O. with completed residency training in psychiatry, with board certificationin general psychiatry and board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry being a plus.
- Board-certified or board-eligible (within 3 years of completing residency).
- Possesses unrestricted CA valid permanent license
- Maintainsindividual Malpractice Insurance.
- Possesses a DEA Certificate or is in the process of obtaining it.
COMPENSATION:
- Compensation will be dependent on the amount of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants you are supervising.
- We offer competitive monthly compensation for each Nurse Practitioner your supervise and offer additional monthly compensation for Board Certified Child-Adol Psychiatrists.
