As a Photography Production Manager, you will oversee our production operations, lead a team of editors, and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality results. Your expertise in managing production workflows, technical knowledge, and leadership will be integral to driving our success.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
- Supervise and manage a team of virtual photo editors, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
- Hire, onboard, and train new editors to uphold company production protocols and brand standards.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment while addressing challenges proactively.
Production Oversight:
- Oversee and streamline editing workflows to ensure all deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Conduct detailed quality assurance reviews on retouched headshots to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress, allocate resources, and address bottlenecks in the production pipeline.
- Implement and refine processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in production.
Technical & Creative Contributions:
- Provide expert-level quality control and feedback on photo edits, guiding the team toward continuous improvement.
- Create custom backgrounds, sample images, and marketing materials using Adobe Photoshop.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to photo editing and file management systems.
Client-Centric Operations:
- Collaborate with internal teams to address client-specific requirements while maintaining consistency across production.
- Ensure seamless communication with clients and internal stakeholders regarding project timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain a solutions-oriented approach to meet unique client needs and elevate their experience.
Operational Excellence:
- Manage and organize digital assets using tools like Dropbox, Slack, and Asana.
- Lead virtual team meetings to align goals, set priorities, and review performance metrics.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize production workflows to maintain a high level of operational efficiency.
QualificationsExperience:
- 10+ years of experience in photo editing, production, or a related field, with advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
- 5+ years of experience managing photo editors, production teams, or creative teams.
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Familiarity with tools like Dropbox, Asana, and Slack; experience implementing workflow improvements is a plus.
