Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accountant who has specific experience working in the transportation industry handling IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) taxes. We are a software development company building AI technology in the transportation space, seeking industry expertise on handling this complex tax process.
Duties
- Meet with C-Suite and Engineer team 1-3 times/week
- Provide feedback about IFTA calculations and clarification on some of the more complex parts
- Be a continued resource as we continue to build this software
Experience
- Proven experience in accounting or a related field is required.
- Strong knowledge IFTA taxes and how they pertain to trucking companies
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, and accounts payable processes is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
