As a Photography Production Assistant, you will bring your expertise to support our production operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality headshots. Working closely with the Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating editing workflows, performing quality checks, and continuously improving our processes.
Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to oversee and streamline editing workflows to meet delivery deadlines.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on retouched headshots, ensuring alignment with client expectations and brand standards.
- Provide constructive feedback to editors to ensure high-quality output and continuous improvement.
Client-Centric Operations:
- Assist in implementing client-specific requirements while maintaining consistency in production.
- Support the improvement of production workflows to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Creative Contributions:
- Review quality of images received from customers as well as edits delivered back to them.
- Create custom backgrounds and sample images for clients using Adobe Photoshop.
- Contribute to the development of educational tutorials and resources to elevate the client experience.
Operational Excellence:
- Manage and organize digital files using tools like Dropbox and Asana.
- Participate in virtual team meetings to prioritize tasks and align with team goals.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in photo editing, production, or a related role, with advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
- 2+ years experience managing photo editors and managing an editing process.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
- Experience with tools like Dropbox, Slack, and Asana is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a production or creative environment.
