QCS – College Admission Strategist & Consultant (US)

This is a 100% remote position. As a College Admission Strategist & Consultant, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic Positioning: Develop comprehensive college application strategies by leveraging each student’s unique qualities and hooks. Collaborate with QCS Essay Coaches and Case Managers to tailor application materials that align with specific universities’ cultures and academic programs.
- Holistic Advising: Provide strategic guidance on academic planning, extracurricular engagement, leadership development, summer programs, standardized test preparation, and all other aspects of college candidacy building.
- School Selection: Use in-depth knowledge of higher education institutions to assist students and families in identifying realistic school goals. Create best-fit school lists with varying levels of competitiveness to optimize acceptance chances.
- Client Engagement: Partner with local Sales teams during initial consultations to articulate QCS’s value proposition and services to potential clients and partners.
- Research & Development: Participate in research projects related to academic counseling and college applications to enhance QCS’s service offerings and maintain a competitive edge in the global market.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required. Attendance at a highly selective undergraduate or graduate institution is preferred, with admission to top-tier colleges viewed favorably.
- Professional Experience: 2–4 years of experience as a college admissions consultant. Deep familiarity with the admissions process and ability to advise students on application strategy, test preparation, essay writing, and school selection.
- Strategic Profiling Expertise: Skilled in developing college application strategic profiles.
- Creative & Interpersonal Skills: Strong creative writing and interviewing abilities.
- Admissions Insight: Experience in reading and evaluating applications for highly selective institutions is highly desirable.

The salary stated above is subject to adjustment based on the candidate's demonstrated level of experience and readiness for the position. Candidates should anticipate a screening process lasting at least one month, during which they will work on a case-by-case basis to showcase their ability to meet milestones within the desired timelines. Full-time compensation, as outlined, will only be offered upon successful completion of this evaluation period and confirmation of the candidate's capabilities.
In addition to the monthly salary, highly capable candidates may also earn bonuses and commissions tied to their performance.
