Job Summary

Vacation travel is booming and Travelink, a proud Virtuoso member, is looking for experienced Vacation Travel Advisors with a special focus on booking cruise, tour, custom FIT, and full experiential package reservations for our vacation travel customers. As an experienced vacation travel advisor, you should be prepared to work in a detail-oriented, virtual team environment.

Even though you’ll be working from your home office, you will be part of a larger virtual team.

Preferred Qualities

This position prefers proficiency in CRM database management of client profiles, Invoicing, Microsoft Office software, working with professional travel booking tools, and general computer and internet expertise.
Have a professional home office, closed off from the rest of the happenings within the home while you are on the job with a strong, stable internet connection.
Knowledge of airline, hotel, cruise, and car rental partnerships, loyalty programs, points programs to assist customers with recommendations for redemptions.
Commitment to completing customer bookings with great detail, passion, and accuracy.
Complete all continuing education, training, and process documentation opportunities.
Strong time management and prioritization skills, proven written and verbal skills, plus a positive and team-focused attitude to deliver the best experience for Travelink customers.
Possess a strong ability to build customer rapport and develop long-term relationships with your customers.
Learn, understand and be able to communicate all promotions and products that pertain to Virtuoso preferred partners.

Position Requirements

5+ years of experience as a cruise and tour packaging vacation travel advisor.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Passion for sales, customer service, and travel.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
Highly proficient in adapting to new and old technologies as there will always be a mix of both.
Thrive in a dynamic, virtual team environment with team members across the USA.
Must be very organized and able to move from one task to another with short notice and with various interruptions.
Work directly with all levels of management over various departments on special request projects.
Apprise the Director of Client Service, Vacation Travel Services and Team Lead of problems, errors, and potential issues as soon as you are aware of the problem to work collaboratively on solutions.
Support and sell preferred vendors and partners as a first choice.
Learn, understand and be able to communicate all promotions and products that pertain to Virtuoso and Travelink preferred partners and programs.
Focused on job related tasks throughout workday and doesn’t get distracted in the home-office environment.
Complete agreed upon development and training coursework.
Attend all office meeting and trainings to stay current on Travelink and Virtuoso communications.
Take appropriate actions to meet sales and performance goals as assigned.
Safeguard company information and property.
Other duties as may be required from time to time to help the team.
